I'd like to build this website so it'd serve as a a database of possibly all synagogues in the vicinity of Central Europe, both those that are still standing (only a few...) and those that were destroyed.

I have been collecting information about synagogues in Europe already for several years.
For that reason, I also started collecting old postcards. Therefore, most of the pictures contained in this website are old vintage postcards from my collection. Some of them are from other collectors. I have also used various photographs, drawings and other historical documents. |
